Mission Committee

The Mission Committee consists of nominated team members who work with over 20 local and international organizations to make Christ known. Each month, one of these organizations is highlighted in a Monthly Mission Partner Sunday service. This is a time for the VPC community to learn about our community partnerships.

Where is God calling you to serve?

We believe that every member of VPC is a missionary. We encourage and equip all members to serve and give to both local and global missions as a part of a commitment to follow Christ. Through organized mission trips and service days, we serve in our community and alongside our mission partners throughout the world. 

Each month, the worship service provides a Moment for Mission. This is a time to identify, inform, and inspire our congregation with a focused mission for the month.

Day4Hope

Mision Peniel in Imokalee

Next trip is October 19th

Volunteers will share God's love with migrant farmworkers at Mision Peniel in Immokalee by serving a hot meal and giving away clothing, limited to 18 volunteers.

A list of items currently needed by Mision Peniel is available below or in the Glass House. Donated items can be dropped off at the church office. See the list of necessary items here.
