2018 VPC Mission Partners

Where is God calling you to serve?

We believe that every member of VPC is a missionary. We encourage and equip all members to serve and give to both local and global missions as a part of a commitment to follow Christ. Through organized mission trips and service days, we serve in our community and alongside our mission partners throughout the world.

Each month, the worship service provides a Moment for Mission. This is a time to identify, inform, and inspire our congregation with a focused mission for the month.

Mission Committee

The Mission Committee consists of nominated team members who work with over 20 local and international organizations to make Christ known. Each month, one of these organizations is highlighted in a Monthly Mission Partner Sunday service. This is a time for the VPC community to learn about our community partnerships.

Mision Peniel in Imokalee

Thank you to all who participated in the Mision Peniel in Immokalee trip in January. So many people were helped as a result of your efforts.

Next trip is in January-details to follow

Looking for ways to be the hands and feet of Christ?  On Friday, April 26 a group of VPC volunteers will carpool to Mision Peniel in Immokalee, Florida to distribute clothing and serve food to migrant farm workers. We will meet at VPC at 11:00 and return to the church at approximately 8:00 p.m. Previous volunteers have returned tired, but changed by the experience and grateful for the opportunity to show God’s love to others.  Please consider joining us!
