Beginning the Journey is for anyone who is interested in learning more about Venice Presbyterian Church and interested in exploring the possibility of formally connecting with VPC as a member or affiliate member. You’re welcome to be part of this 5-session class, whether you’ve only been attending VPC for a few weeks or a number of years.
We will be offering two Beginning the Journey opportunities in early 2018:
· Winter – January 23 and 30, February 6, 13, and 20
· Spring – March 6, 13, 20, and 27; April 3
You’re strongly encouraged to arrange your calendar attend all five sessions of either the Winter or Spring series. Sessions begin at 5:30 pm with a catered dinner in the Fellowship Hall, which offers an opportunity to get to know other people who are beginning their journey at VPC … plus an evening without cooking! Dinner will be followed by a time of informative and interactive teaching and conversation. We will also take time to tour the church campus, to learn a little about VPC’s history, and to describe our vision for the present and future. Most of all, we hope to provide each participant with an individualized plan for continuing the spiritual journey as part of the VPC family.
At the end of the five sessions, participants have the opportunity to become members or affiliate members of Venice Presbyterian Church. (Affiliate member is a designation for those who hold membership in another church where they primarily reside; being an affiliate member is a way for snowbirds to formally connect with VPC.)
To register for either the Winter or Spring series of Beginning the Journey, please Register online, in the Church Office or on Sunday mornings at the Glass House Information Center.
