The Jazz Masters is a six-member jazz ensemble made up of some of South Florida’s top jazz artists. The Jazz Masters will perform a program of classic jazz standards, music from the Great American Songbook, as well as original music written by members of the group. The group includes Peter BarenBregge (woodwinds), former director of the renowned Airmen of Note; Dick Hyman, the legendary jazz pianist, Tom Jestadt (drums), one of Toronto’s busiest percussionists; Mark Neuenschwander (bass) South Florida’s most sought after bassist; Randy Sandke (trumpet), one of the country’s leading jazz trumpeters; and Venice Presbyterian’s own Michael Treni (trombone), former New York studio arranger, trombonist, and jazz educator. This is one concert you don’t want to miss!
