TCM International

TCM  is committed to taking Christ to millions around the world by training Christians for ministry. They currently have 1,465 students and 587 graduates working in 43 countries.  TCM offers various degree programs in a flexible format so that the Christian leaders they train can remain and serve in their home countries throughout their education so that they can continue to influence their churches, cultures and countries for Christ.  Over a hundred are from Muslim-dominated nations and many of these are former Muslims themselves and at least two are former Muslim Imams. Our partnership with TCM is a clear way we are helping to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ to go into all the world and make disciples.

Missionaries Jim and Jodi McGill

Jim and Jodi McGill are PCUSA missionaries located in Niger.  Jim works to ensure sustainability for clean water and sanitation at the community level and to ensure the church is a strong presence in the rural development of Niger and South Sudan.  Jodi works to create and staff church-run health clinics and to train students in their new nursing school.  The area they work in is one of the African continent’s most economically impoverished countries and is at the bottom of the UN’s human development index.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

FCA seeks to make disciples through our methods of engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. They engage relationally by connecting with individuals and through events in many different environments, including schools, by building genuine trust, sharing our lives and sharing the gospel. FCA is active in Venice High School working with coaches, athletes, and huddles that all students are welcome to attend.

Mision Peniel

A shared mission of the churches of Peace River Presbytery, Mision Peniel serves the migrant farmworker community in Immokalee, Florida, east of Bonita Springs.  Every week they serve 300-700 meals, provide pastoral care and counseling, hospital visitation, and assistance in orienting migrants to a new culture.  Every year, several tons of clothes and food are provided to farmworkers and their families.

Beth-El is a joint mission between Peace River Presbytery and Tampa Bay Presbytery.  It is a ministry to migrant farmworkers in Wimauma, Florida, near Sun City Center.  The mission provides weekly worship in Spanish, a food pantry, health care services, a day care and K-8 charter school, scholarships and career mentoring. They seek to feed the mind, spirit, and body of farmworkers and neighbors in need through hunger relief, education, healthcare, and spiritual development.

Cedarkirk Campground & Conference Center

Cedarkirk is a year round camp and conference center owned by the Presbyteries of Tampa Bay and Peace River. In addition to their scheduled activities, church groups and individuals can schedule retreats and other activities, e.g. weddings, there. The spaces Cedarkirk offers range from indoor areas for 100 to outdoor spaces for up to 250  people and is a favorite place for youth group retreats.
