Pour Out Your Spirit

Scripture: “I will pour out my Spirit on all people.” — Joel 2:28 

Reflection: 

God's Spirit is the One who gives life to His people, empowers His Church, and enables us to live as witnesses for Christ. We cannot accomplish God's mission through human strength alone. We need the Holy Spirit to transform hearts, give wisdom, produce spiritual fruit, and empower faithful witness. Joel's promise points toward God's gracious work of pouring out His Spirit, fulfilled in significant ways at Pentecost and continuing in the life of the Church. During these 40 days, let us pray not merely for greater activity but for greater dependence upon the Spirit of God. 

Prayer: 

Holy Spirit, work deeply within Your people. Give us wisdom, courage, holiness, and power to faithfully represent Jesus in the world.
