Created for God’s Works

Scripture: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” - Ephesians 2:10 (ESV)

Reflection: God created each of us with purpose. Our lives are not accidents, and our faith is not meant to be something we keep separate from our everyday responsibilities. Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ for good works. These works do not earn our salvation; they are the fruit of the grace we have already received through Jesus.

Sometimes we search for a grand purpose while overlooking the opportunities God has placed directly in front of us. Our calling may be found in how we care for our families, serve our neighbors, encourage others, or faithfully fulfill the responsibilities of each day. God can use ordinary moments to accomplish meaningful things. Ask Him to help you recognize the opportunities He has placed before you and to walk faithfully in them.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for creating me with purpose and for saving me through Your grace. Help me recognize the opportunities You place before me each day. Teach me to serve faithfully, love generously, and trust that even ordinary acts of obedience matter to You. May my life reflect Your goodness and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
