Grace for Today

Friday, September 4th

Scripture: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9

Reflection:

There are moments when we wish God would remove every difficulty from our lives. Paul prayed for his struggle to be taken away, yet God's answer was to assure him of sufficient grace. Sometimes God changes our circumstances, and sometimes He gives us the strength to walk faithfully through them. His grace meets us exactly where we are. We do not have to manufacture strength that we do not possess. We can come to God in our weakness and depend upon Him. Prayer reminds us that weakness does not disqualify us from God's purposes. It can become the very place where we experience His strength most clearly.

Prayer:

Jesus, thank You that Your grace is enough for me. Meet me in my weakness today and give me the strength I need to remain faithful.
