Heaven Rejoices in Justice

Thursday, April 9th

Scripture: Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her! (Revelation 18:20)

Reflection: 
While the earth mourns Babylon’s fall, heaven rejoices. This contrast highlights the difference between earthly perspective and heavenly truth. God’s justice is good, right, and worthy of celebration. Though judgment can feel heavy, it ultimately restores what is broken and brings an end to evil. As believers, we trust that God’s justice is not only necessary but also part of His redemptive plan. His righteousness ensures that wrong will not have the final word. 

Prayer: 
Righteous God, help me trust in Your justice. Align my heart with Your truth and Your perfect ways. Amen.
