Faithful in the Small Things

Thursday, November 5th

Scripture: Luke 16:10 (ESV) “One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.” 

Reflection: We often associate purpose with big accomplishments or important moments, but God places great value on faithfulness in the small things. The way we handle everyday responsibilities, treat others, and honor our commitments reveals the character we are developing. What may seem insignificant to us can be an opportunity to demonstrate our love and obedience to God. 

You do not have to wait for a bigger opportunity to begin living faithfully. Whether you are serving at home, working, helping a neighbor, or supporting your church, approach each responsibility with a heart that honors the Lord. God sees the work that others may overlook, and He calls us to be faithful wherever He has placed us. 

Prayer: Lord, help me remain faithful in the small things. Keep me from overlooking the everyday opportunities to serve and honor You. Give me diligence in my responsibilities, integrity in my decisions, and a willing heart in everything I do. May my faithfulness in ordinary moments reflect my love for You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
